"Another exceptional release from the Brombron series handled by Korm Plastics, In De Blaauwe Hand is a collaboration between the renowned Spanish composer and sound artist Francisco Lopez and New Zealander Richard Francis. These two set up shop in Nijmegen during a short residency, pooling a small number of source sounds for the construction of a lengthy co-fabricated narrative. The two worked in parallel studios, making for a strange, very isolated and solitary slant on what "collaboration" tends to infer, but it all comes together in splendid fashion for the end-result, which takes on an organic, flowing, almost improvised feel as the two artists thread together their infinitesimally detailed handiwork."
